There is a special kinship in the wine industry among sommeliers.  I loved watching Ted Glennon, Master Sommelier Kevin Vogt,  and AIS Sommelier Riccardo Sgarra connect at Piemonte’s famous restaurant, Locanda nel Borgo Antico.

Again, it’s the love of Italian wine that unites us!  Riccardo Sgarra was our sommelier for the evening when we dined at the Borgo Antico with the Piemonte Land of Perfection group.

The service was unparalleled, the wines were treated as honored guests, and even those of us who were not Riccardo’s fellow sommeliers felt welcomed and comfortable in his capable hands.
