Ok, so maybe it’s not the best shape for concentrating aromatics.  Or for preserving bubbles.  Or for generally tasting wine.  But after our tasting with the Conzorsio for Moscato d’Asti, I will admit, I have been romanced by the coppa.

There is definitely something romantic about the shape of this coupe.  Generous, curvy and rumored to have been fashioned from an imprint of Marie Antoinette’s perfect breast.  While perhaps not particularly Italian, nor serviceable, nor practical, la coppa is definitely poetic.

And who doesn’t need a little more poetry in their lives?  Viva la coppa!
