Tasting Terlano with a Master…

Thomas Burke, Master Sommelier and Director of Education for Wirtz Beverage Nevada.

Upon opening two bottles each of Terlano’s 1971 and 1959 Pinot Bianco, Thomas Burke reminds us that each bottle truly is , “a little person, with its own individual personality”.

For example, Thomas noted that one of the bottles of 1971 Pinot Bianco smelled frankly like wet cement, while the other had a much more engaging breadth of aromatics. Wine is alive!  You never know what you’re going to get until you open the bottle.
